Use Trial Software Forever – Run Trial Versions Again n Again

Saturday, May 12, 2012 0 comments

Well this is quite interesting because this tool will help you use trial softwares forever. There are so many outstanding desktop apps. which can really optimize you computing life, and they release trials. What better way to continue the free usage if you could run trial softwares again and again.

# RunAsDate (Link) – Run a Program with Specified Date, Time

RunAsDate is a small utility that lets you run a program on the date and time you specify. This utility does not change the current system date and time of your computer, but only injects the date and time specified in the desired application.
Use Trial Software Forever - Run Trial Versions Again
RunAsDate intercepts the kernel API calls that returns the current date and time (GetSystemTime, GetLocalTime, GetSystemTimeAsFileTime), and replaces the current time with the date and time you specify. You can run multiple applications simultaneously, each application works with different date and time, while the real date / time of your system continues to function normally.
Another similar tool is Time Stopper which can stop the time for try out version software.

Remove Vocals from Songs: Free Karaoke Software to Extract only Music

So you want to impress your friends with your ability to sing, but only like to listen to boring old top 40 songs, and the new Karaoke machine you just bought is broken. What can you do? Is all lost? NO! Do not do anything drastic! There’s still hope – Introducing AnalogX Vocal Remover!

nalogX Vocal Remover works on the same principles that hardware removers do – that in most instances vocals are equally mixed in both channels, and can be identified and therefore removed by simply changing the phase on one channel 180 degrees. Although this does not remove vocals in all cases, works in many cases, and sometimes can be used to remove bass or break beat sections as well, which I find very good for sampling! Depending on the effects used on vocals, sometimes the reverb or ambience of the voice.
Remove Vocals from Songs: Free Karaoke Software
To use DirectX Vocal Remover, your application must support DirectX Audio Plugins, and must also be compatible with any real time or non real-time processing (such as Paris, Cakewalk, WaveLab, CoolEdit, etc.) Vocal Remover REQUIRES a flow stereo sound and supports 16-bit or 32-bit or data types.
# Download AnalogX Vocal Remover : Click Here

n order to use the WinAmp Vocal Remover, you must already have WinAmp installed on your system, but requires a stereo sound stream, and is only compatible with 16 bits of data types. Vocal Remover works on all versions of Windows from Windows 95 to Windows 7 and in between everything (including XP, Vista, Win2k, etc.).

 http://slinkingtowardretirement.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/BASICS-articleLarge.jpg

We present another list of the must hacking tools every hacker must have. These toolsmake the life of a hacker much easier and every n00b must first learn how to use these tools first.

AIRCRACK

Aircrack-ng is an 802.11 WEP and WPA-PSK keys cracking program that can recover keys once enough data packets have been captured. It implements the standard FMS attack along with some optimizations like KoreK attacks, as well as the all-new PTW attack, thus making the attack much faster compared to other WEP cracking tools. In fact, Aircrack-ng is a set of tools for auditing wireless networks.

BarsWF

BarsWF is the worlds fastest md5 bruteforcing password cracker, just in case you didn't already know.
It combines using your computers processor with you graphics cards GPU for computing the largest amount of hashes as quickly as possible. It is not unheard of to get 100's of millions of hashes per second when using this application.

Prerequisites which really dont need to be mentioned are a processor with SSE2 instruction set, and any nvidia geforce 8 and up graphics card with CUDA support if you want the really fast one, otherwise most decently new nvidia graphics cards bought in the past 2 years should be able to work with this.

CYGWIN

Cygwin is the next best thing to using Linux.
I personally do not use a windows box period, work, school, or other, unless I have Cygwin installed.
It's a large download, but once you get use to using it there's no turning back.
I have actually created a condensed copy that I carry around on my flash drive.
It comes complete with most Unix/Linux commands, to include the ability to compile things on the fly with gcc, perl, etc..
It has many useful things about it, but the only way to really see the extent of them is to use it yourself unless you like reading pages of technical data to help put you to sleep at night.

FYI...Last I checked it was currently managed by RedHat.

Nessus has been around for a little more than a little while now and has gone from free to almost free to it's gonna cost ya.
I'm not really sure regarding the newest updates as I haven't used it since it lost it's freedom, but I will say it has plugins for everything under the sun!
It is mainly used for network and server scanning and has the ability to test and create a client/server connection between yourself and the host you're testing with.

RAINBOW CRACK

RainbowCrack is a general propose implementation of Philippe Oechslin's faster time-memory trade-off technique.
In short, the RainbowCrack tool is a hash cracker. A traditional brute force cracker try all possible plaintexts one by one in cracking time. It is time consuming to break complex password in this way. The idea of time-memory trade-off is to do all cracking time mabait in advance and store the result in files so called "rainbow table". It does take a long time to precompute the tables. But once the one time mabait is finished, a time-memory trade-off cracker can be hundreds of times faster than a brute force cracker, with the help of precomputed tables.

VaultMP - Vault-Tec Multiplayer F3 (for Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim and Oblivion)

Thursday, March 15, 2012 0 comments

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/17423-3-1330351116.png

Vault-Tec Multiplayer Mod ("vaultmp") is a multiplayer mod for the PC
versions of Bethesda's award-winning role-playing games Fallout 3,
Fallout: New Vegas and Oblivion.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/17423-1-1330351114.png

It's currently in development, but is going to
support the following:

 • Dedicated server, MasterServer and client including a server browser
 • Syncing of movement, actions / animations and AI
 • In-game GUI overlay for chatting
 • Supporting DLCs as well as Fallout user mods
 • Scripting on the server to define gameplay rules (PAWN)

The main goal is to enable players to roam the open world of the wasteland /
the desert and experience all the exciting features of the games
together online. Systems which are inherently incompatible with a
multiplayer environment like VATS will be disabled. Furthermore quests
and missions will be removed at first. We aim to implement several of
them in future development stages though

Facts which deserve attention before posting on the forums:

 • Vaultmp is in alpha stage. some of the mentioned features are severally lacking or not persistent at all.
 • Vaultmp is an open-source project. everybody is free to check out the source
 • and contribute. check the other topics for more info.
 • Vaultmp is currently being developed by a single person of The Brickster.net Group (Recycler). He has to study and work like everybody has to. Please don't expect him to spend all his free time on vaultmp only.
 • If you don't like the idea of a multiplayer please note that we don't intend to replace the singleplayer or something like that.

Disclaimer: I run this page with the permission of the mods author, Recycler. If you have any questions related to the multiplayer, head over to either his youtube page or the official forums.

Follow the video above.

Version Information

(Revision 147) Test release
Since the 2nd of August I've been busy with rewriting the whole mod. Now it has a solid foundation and code base which was lacking previously. The initial development of vaultmp dates back to the 11th of September 2010 (http://www.brickster.net/index_2.html). I never planned to seriously develop it for such a long time. It was meant as a somewhat more professional school project. As I found out that the interest in such a mod is huge, I continued working on it, but it wasn't properly designed to be able to support advanced features such as syncing of NPCs or inventories. This is the reason I basically started from the ground up.

Revision 145 is the first "release" of this (with release I refer to the fact that I provide pre-compiled binaries; the mod is open-source and was accessible all the time). It is for testing only. In comparison to revision 134, it has even less game features, due to the fact that I spent most time on coding the behind-the-scenes systems, not real multiplayer functionality. Before I start re-implementing old and many new features, I'd like to parallel make sure that users can find bugs (which are existent in new systems by nature). This is why I release revision 145.

What you cannot expect from this release (in comparison to revision 134):
Inventory syncing
Syncing of player death event
Proper cell syncing (while working, adjacent exterior cells are still treated as interior cells basically)
What is different to previous releases:
vaultserver command line options are gone; use vaultserver.ini configuration instead
PAWN has been updated to the most recent version; vaultmp's implementation now uses 64bit cells
What is new with this release:
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion support
You can now use vaultmp.ini configuration file to manually add "favourite" servers to the client
The client / server now supports mods and file downloading; vaultmp will automatically set up the mod load order specified by the server (which overrides your local mod loading settings!)
C++ scripting
Timers (both in PAWN and C++)
Some scripting callbacks and functions (the more interesting functions are not there yet)

vaultmp now features a clear structure of game models. The concept behind this is mostly important to scripters. I will provide an introduction to that in another post. There is a lot of stuff to document, I hope I can write some wiki articles the next days. Here is the full list of changes:

QUOTE
Bethesda API framework (API class)
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion support
Re-design of Pipe class
Interface (based on the old command execution layer)
Value container class, Lockable extension class
Network layer (NetworkClient, NetworkServer, PacketTypes)
Exception system (VaultException class)
Re-design of vaultmp.dll to work with the API
PAWN update to version 4.0.4548
Revised scripting architecture: now supporting n-amount of C++ / PAWN scripts
Mod support (no registering of new game content yet) and "Synchronize" server feature
vaultserver.ini configuration file
Reorganized class hierarchy
GameFactory class
Container class, Object class, Item class
vaultmp.ini configuration file
Rewritten game synchronization code
CriticalSection usage, controlled through GameFactory
Injecting code changed to support Steam versions properly
Resolved CriticalSection deadlocks
Native C++ / PAWN timers running in the main thread
PAWN cell size is now 64bit (use packed strings!)
Scripting callbacks: OnActorValueChange, OnActorValueChange, OnActorBaseValueChange, OnActorStateChange
Scripting functions: CreateTimer, KillTimer, GetPlayerPos, GetPlayerAngle, GetPlayerValue, GetPlayerBaseValue, GetPlayerCell, ValueToString, AxisToString, AnimToString
VaultFunctor class
Unix server compatibility (not fully tested)
Some changes to scripting callbacks

Start Orb Mover: Move your Start Button and Start Menu to different locations on your Taskbar

Sunday, March 11, 2012 0 comments

For as many years as long as one can remember…on websites, on blogs, on forums…users have been asking for and discussing a way to move the Start Orb – but without much success. There have been tools to change Start Orbs or change Start Button Tooltips or to remove Start Buttons… but none to move the Start Button or the Start Menu to another location.

Start Orb Mover

Customization and tweaking enthusiasts – we now present to you, our new freeware : Start Orb Mover! Our TWC developer Lee Whittington was working on it for the last one year, with little luck – until now! This portable freeware will now allow you to move the Start Button and the Start Menu to either the center of the Taskbar or far right\bottom, depending on Taskbar location.

Start Orb Mover will let you move or re-locate your Start Button and Start Menu to any location on your Taskbar. Clicking on the re-located Start Orb will open the Start Menu, relative to the location of the Start Orb.
Start Orb Mover also gives users a quick option to do tasks such as Change Start Orb, Restart Explorer, Open an Administrative Command Prompt, Exit Explorer, Open Explorer, Open Start Menu and Taskbar Properties, Hide the Taskbar or change location of Start Orb, simply by right-clicking the Start Orb.

Features of Start Orb Mover:
 • Move Start Orb Center or Right\Bottom
 • Start Orb Changer
 • Show\Hide Taskbar
 • Start Menu\Taskbar Properties
 • Exit Explorer
 • Open Explorer like how the standard Start Menu does
 • Restart Explorer
 • Open Administrative Command Prompt
 • Load on Startup.

Start Orb Mover is a work-in-progress and there are a few thing you should note before you use the tool:
 1. Alignment of the Notification Area when Start Orb is set to Right\Bottom position is set this way, due to the Notification Area having the ability to resize when more applications having Notification Icons are opened. This keeps the Notification Area from “under-lapping” the Start Orb.
 2. Do not change position of the Taskbar while Orb Mover is running, as it will cause the system to not update in a manner that keeps the Start Orb aligned with the change. If you do happen to move the Taskbar while Orb Mover is running, just change the position of Start Orb and it will readjust properly.
 3. Sometimes when you open the Start Menu and scroll through the menu items on the right-hand side, it will leave an odd color hue behind. It appears to happen due to forcing the Start Menu to open in a position it was not designed for. The developer is working on finding a solution and the app will be updated if a fix is found.
 4. When you click to open Start Menu and then close the Start Menu, the orb displayed in the background in default position. Clicking or moving mouse over Orb Mover will fix this.

85+ Free Killer Resources Every Designer Should Know

Sunday, March 4, 2012 0 comments

All designers have to defeat the same monsters.
 • Inspiration blocks;
 • Lack of material, like and unvectorized logo;
 • Poor quality images or their non-existence;
 • Low or no budget;
 • Unhelpful clients;
May I continue?
Well the good news is that you just need courage to persist and the light of information to scare those monsters away.
You got the courage. I got the Info.
Here I’ll give the info that could take you ages to find by yourself or another designer to tell (maybe because of lack of time or selfishness). I tried to cover most of the aspects that will help you in your journey, in a total of 15 aspects. Let’s start with some healthy tips for images.

Images

It is 3 AM; you are pretty tired, your stomach can’t bear another dose of caffeine and you still need that Pretty Business type picture to use in your project, but you don’t have the budget to afford a stock image from gettyimage. Been there? Well, don’t panic. You can get it in HI-RES for free from some great sites – plenty of royalty photos to share, that you can use on your personal and commercial projects, depending on the type of license.
Now you will spend until 4AM trying to decide which photo to use.
stock.png
This is my site of choice, I’ve been using it using for years, god pretty usable navigation; lots of great quality photos, many ways to sort them.

More great sites :
flirck1.png
The biggest photo community site where you can also find perfect pictures for your work. You just have to check if the license is suitable to your project.
wikemedia.png
Wikimedia imagesearch in 64 categories. Also under the Creative Commons license.
Metasearch (search through several free stock photo sites): pretty useful, but you will needs registering.
picfinder.png
At first look this site doesn’t seem that attractive, but once you try your first
search you’ll find a neatly done flash interface with photo previews, sorted by
origin.
yophoto.png
The interface is better looking than picfindr’s, but lacks the convenience of a flash interface.
vectricity.png
HUGE index of free vector files from the best designers in the world.
brusheezy.png
From the same guys of vecteezy. Index with daily updates of photoshop brushes.

Pixel patterns

Pixel patterns are in fashion (yes, again), but wait! Not as in annoying animated gif that clutter your page background. They have come back in the form of pixel rich textures varying from clean to Victorian flowers.

Logotypes

You’re working on project and suddenly your client tells you that you have to add several partner logos and all that you’ve got is a Business card to take the logo from.
Frustrating uh?
Well, at least until this 2 little babies came into my life. These 2 sites host vector based company logos from all around the world. So no more unexpected and unpayed hours of logo vectorization. All you need is a bit luck and the logo you need will be in their database.
brandsoftheworld.png
I can’t say how many times this site has saved my neck with its vector logos. God save this site.
logotypesru.png

Fonts

Now you weren’t that lucky to find that logo on www.brandsoftheworld.com and you still need it in vectors, but you can’t recognize which font it is using. (Or you are simply wondering what fonts certain corporation or ad campaign has…)
whathefont.png
If the logo is not using avantgarde or arial, you’ve got 2 options. Use your skills as Fontographer guru or use the whathefont tool from myfonts.com: it works great! You input the URL from the desired logo or upload the scanned image. Using OCR (optical character recognition), it gives you the font the logo is using or, if not, you’ve got several similar options. This’ going to save you hours of search or the worse, having to vectorize the font… (it gives me the creeps!)
logosweb20.png
Wanting to do a web2.0 style logo, but not sure where to start? Not even sure what makes a logo look like web 2.0? Let this article guide you through some of the current style in logos, the fonts they use and the way they sort the logos by appearance.
More about what fonts famous sites logos.
Compare fonts on screen.
Now you are going to need some fonts for that logo. You can find a wide range of hi-quality free fonts on these sites. You can even find clones of commercial logos for free!

Icons

Icons are the way to spice things up on a design. Fortunately there are lots of very talented designers that are willing to share with us their tiny masterpieces.
iconbase.png
My personal favourite repository of free icons.
